This work confronts my own fear of documentation and public vulnerability by photographing the part of myself I close off from view. I want to break down barriers and let viewers feel they don't have to act a certain way in front of a camera due to fear of public opinion. I photographed and displayed this work to resemble a social media feed to compare the connection we make with modern cellphone screens and the composition of portrait photography. The double exposed images represent the parts of ourselves which we decide to show others and the parts we choose to hide.
