Through my research, mental disorders were a very prominent issue in the past, as well as present day. The arts were labeled with the stereotype of being the most prominent area for having these issues, even though many artists are perfectly healthy, mentally and physically. However, in the arts, some of the most renowned idols have been affected by varying types of mental illness. Through this six-piece series, I am exploring the results that some of these illnesses have caused a few of the worlds most beloved contributors to the arts.
